The qualification is made up of the following modules which are done over a period of 12 months. To qualify for a Technical Matric certificate, which is equivalent to a DoE Matric certificate, a candidate needs to write any four (4) N3 engineering subjects including Mathematics, Science and two (2) languages. The course offerings is as follows:
Subjects:
Industrial Organisation & Planning.
Electives:
Engineering Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing, Mechano-technology.
Languages:
Business English, Afrikaans.
Upon completion, a Certificate will be issued from the Department of Education.
