End User Computing
The student is equipped with essential competence; technical, practical and theoretical knowledge in the information technology fraternity. Any management or administrative office requires competent individuals who are excellent in the IT concepts understanding
The program is done over a period of one year. It is made up of two semesters with each semester done over a period of six months. The program is available in fulltime/part-time mode.
Minimum Requirements
- At least Grade 10
- Equivalent Qualification and or experience
End User Support Administrator, Executive Assistant, Office Administrator, Data Capturer, MS Office Administrator.
Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training (MICTSETA).
PC Support
The PC Support programme is designed to equip learners to enter any PC business environment in a vital supporting or training role. The strength of the qualification is the depth in which the software packages are covered. Their application in business, features and functions, installations, support issues and general user problems.
The program is done over a period of two years after which the student will get two certificates. It is made up of four semesters with each semester done over a period of six months.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- National Certificate NQF Level 4 or Equivalent Qualification
- Experience in the Industry.
End User Support Technician, IT Technician, Network Technician, Server Administrator, LAN Administrator
Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training (MICTSETA).
IT Systems Development 4
The student is equipped with technical, theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge in the software development field. The FET Certificate is the entry point for this field at NQF level 4. The student will be equipped with the ability to develop and maintain software applications in any IT environment.
The program is done over a period of one year. It is made up of two semesters with each semester done over a period of six months. The program is available in fulltime/part-time mode
Minimum Requiirements
- At least Grade 11, English and Mathematics prerequisite.

- Work Experience
Junior Programmer, Assistant Systems Developer, Information Systems Administrator, Junior Systems Analyst
Certificates are awarded by the Department of Higher Education & Training (MICTSETA).
IT Systems Development 5
The student is equipped with technical, theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge in the software development field. The FET Certificate is the entry point for this field at NQF level 4. The student will be equipped with the ability to develop and maintain software applications in any IT environment.

Computer Programmer, Systems Developer, Database Administrator, Web Designer, Software Project Manager.

System Support
This qualification is sometimes referred to as PC Engineering which has its foundation in FETC Technical Support level 4. The qualification provides the student with competencies in hardware and infrastructure support as well as networking.
The program is done over a period of one year. It is made up of two semesters with each semester done over a period of six months. The program is available in fulltime/part-time mode
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- FETC Technical Support Certificate NQF Level 4 or Equivalent Qualification

Technical Support
The student is prepared for the field of Systems Support. This qualification is the entry level into the field where the students gets to understand the technical complexity of the IT field.
The program is done over a period of one year. It is made up of two semesters with each semester done over a period of six months. The program is available in fulltime/part-time mode.
